About Us

Practical Engineering. Responsible Manufacturing.

Machinable Innovations is a precision CNC machine shop and engineering service provider in Bend, Oregon, led directly by the owner.

Built from Practical Experience

Owner David Petrich served seven years in the United States Air Force as a Metals Technologist before building Machinable Innovations. That background shaped the company’s direct approach: understand the requirement, solve the manufacturing problem, document the result, and stand behind the work.

Today, the shop supports aerospace, defense, robotics, semiconductor automation, and advanced industrial work. Projects range from difficult one off projects and prototypes to recurring production components and assemblies.

Customers work directly with the people responsible for the result. That means faster communication, realistic feedback, and practical engineering support when a design or process needs attention.

How We Work

  • Direct communication with the people doing the work
  • Straight answers on manufacturability and whether the job fits our capabilities
  • Continuity from prototype through production
  • Capable inspection performed in house
  • Accountability for the finished result

From Idea to Reality

Bring us a print, an early model, an existing component, or simply a manufacturing problem. We will help determine the most practical path forward.
